Mole (mo-lay) is a spicy, rich, dark-ish chocolate sauce that I got introduced to only a few years ago.
Mole, apparently, is derived from the Aztec word Molli, which means sauce or stew. Oaxaca (we-hä-ka), in southeastern Mexico, is where this sauce is supposed to have originated. Apparently seven distinguishable varieties of Moles are prepared in Oaxaca to this day.
The sauce has a blend of dry chilies, onion, garlic and some toasted pumpkin seeds or sesame seeds.
But, the special ingredient that makes the sauce is cocoa powder.

I Know I can always have great Mexican Food at 2:30 PM when most Mexican Restaurants are closed at Mi Pueblo's on 4436 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, Florida, 34233, (941) 379-2880.
This is the only one of their three locations that is open at odd hours. But their food is great. They make their own tortilla chips and their salsa is the best! Lots of fresh cilantro. It is very busy on the weekends. Check out their website.

SWEET TALK CAFE - BRAZILIAN DELI - Authentic Brazilian food, cyber cafe with free internet access or you can rent a laptop. I tried the Pão Francês fresh roll. The crust was like French bread but the inside melted in my mouth. The split pea soup was good (and not salty). They let me sample their Pão de Queio, which is their Brazilian cheese bread made with manioc flour and cheese. It was hot, fresh from the oven, and delicious. I also got to sample some of their desserts, some were sweet and some were mildly sweet.Apparently, Brazilians like their food salty but Americans do not like salty foods. So they make their food to please the American clientele since one can always add more salt. On Wednesday nights, starting at 8 PM, they have live music. They are open daily from Tuesday to Sunday.
El alimento brasileño auténtico, el café de ciber con el acceso a internet libre o usted pueden alquilar un ordenador portátil. Probé el Pão Francês el rollo fresco. La corteza estuvo como pan francés pero el interior se fundió en la boca. La sopa de guisantes partida fue buena (y no salado). Ellos permiten que mí probar su Pão de Queio, que es su pan brasileño de queso hecho con harina de mandioca y queso. Hizo calor, recién salido del horno, y delicioso. EL TORO BRAVO - Southwest Mexican Cuisine (New Mexico). I shared the Guadalajara Plate with my friend and we both loved it. It consists of two corn tortillas, topped with refried beans, spiced beef, green chile sauce, cheddar cheese, guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes, 4 more cheeses, and sour cream served with rice. It was very filling too!
El sudoeste de Cocina mexicana (Nuevo México). Compartí el Plato de Guadalajara con mi amigo y con nosotros ambos lo adoraron. Consiste en dos tortillas de maíz, sobrepasado con frijoles refritos, la carne de vaca condimentada, la salsa verde de Chile, el queso cheddar, el guacamol, la lechuga, los tomates, 4 más quesos, y la crema agria sirvieron con arroz. ¡Llenaba muy también!

CEVICHE - The original Ceviche in Tampa opened in 1997. This unique Spanish Restaurant was voted ‘Top Twenty New Restaurants in Florida’ by Florida Trend. Ceviche restaurants offer over 100 different hot and cold tapas as well as paella and cazuelas. Most of the tapas recipes are from Northern Spain and Catalan. Many of the products are imported directly to the restaurant to maintain the authenticity of the dishes. An exclusive Spanish wine list has been carefully designed by the owners and the Sangria has been voted “Best in Tampa Bay.” I have eaten there and it is a bit on the pricey side but the food is awesome! Flamenco Bar: Located in the St. Petersburg restaurant. Live flamenco music is offered Wednesday through Saturday. Ceviche’s incredible Spanish guitarists and flamenco dancers will stimulate your feet and keep you entertained into the wee hours.
El Ceviche original en Tampa abrió en 1997. Este Restaurante español extraordinario fue votado 'Sobrepasa Veinte Nuevos Restaurantes en Florida' por la Tendencia de Florida. Los restaurantes de Ceviche ofrecen más de 100 tapas así como paella diferentes calientes y frías y cazuelas. La mayor parte de las recetas de tapas son del norte de España y catalán.
